The Associated Press called two of the House swing races we're watching for Democrats, and both are Democratic gains (AP via NYT).

- VA-2: Elaine Luria (D) defeats Rep. Jen Kiggans (R), called 11:47 PM ET. 156,767 to 140,365 with about 88% counted. - CO-8: Manny Rutinel (D) defeats Rep. Gabe Evans (R), called 11:49 PM ET. 120,362 to 87,566 with about 75% counted.

With these calls, AP has called 170 House seats for Democrats and 106 for Republicans; 218 are needed for a majority (AP via NYT).
