Fake Amazon workers tie up 89-year-old Bronx woman and her son in home invasion, police say

FACTS

Three people, two of them dressed as Amazon delivery workers, forced their way into an apartment near Bainbridge Avenue and East 199th Street in the Bronx around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

One showed a gun. They took cellphones, cash and credit cards, zip-tied an 89-year-old woman and her 70-year-old son by the hands and feet, and fled north on Bainbridge Avenue. EMS treated both for minor injuries.

No arrests have been made. Tips: Crime Stoppers, 800-577-TIPS.
