Eisenkot's party files police complaint after protester tells him 'you'll end up beside your son'

Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party filed a police complaint Monday against Yossi Cohen, a protester who shouted death threats outside Eisenkot's home in Herzliya on Sunday, i24NEWS reports. Cohen is the father of Amit Cohen, who was killed at the Nova festival on Oct. 7; he is not the former Mossad chief.

At the protest, Cohen shouted "You murdered your own son" and "you'll end up beside your son," and also threatened Eisenkot's wife, Hanna, according to i24NEWS and The Times of Israel. Eisenkot's son Gal was killed fighting in Gaza in December 2023.

Yashar blamed what it called the "rotten" political culture of the Netanyahu era.
