Fake texts tell Fulton County voters their polling place moved. The county says it didn't send them

FACTS

Fulton County, Georgia, is warning voters about text messages falsely claiming their polling place has changed. The county says it did not send them, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and FOX 5 Atlanta report, and CNN reported the same warning. Officials told voters to check their polling place on the state's My Voter Page or call the county at 404-612-7020 before heading out.

FOX 5 also reports that about 1,000 Fulton early-voting ballots will be rescanned. Fulton, home to most of Atlanta, has been at the center of Georgia's election fights since 2020.
