ICE released another list on Election Day of foreign nationals arrested or charged for illegal voting: 14 people from countries including Mexico, Liberia, Canada, Brazil, Vietnam, Cuba, Somalia and Trinidad and Tobago.
Several are accused of voting again and again. Chris Adam Pettiquoi, a Liberian citizen, is charged with unlawful voting and falsely claiming U.S. citizenship; records show he voted in 2014, 2016, 2020 and 2024, ICE says. Julio Ceser Arias Antonio, a Mexican DACA recipient, is accused of voting in 2016, 2020 and 2024. A Brazilian woman, a former green-card holder, was arrested for voting in 1996. Stanley Jide of Liberia, arrested for voting in 2022, has convictions for assault and fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle.
On Tuesday afternoon HSI Philadelphia also announced the arrest of a Canadian national on four counts of voting by an alien. ICE says the person registered in 2020 and voted in the 2022, 2024 and 2026 primary and general elections.
