Possible sign: Iraq restricts its airspace to set corridors Nov. 7–11, citing "military activity"

ATTRIBUTED CLAIMS

Iraq has issued a notice to airmen restricting flights over its airspace and into four major airports — Baghdad, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Kirkuk — to designated routes for six hours a day from Nov. 7 through Nov. 11, citing "military activity," OSINT account @Osint613 reported Thursday evening.

The restrictions apply daily from 05:00 to 11:00 UTC (8 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time), according to the notice, which was also flagged by @sentdefender as FAA-listed NOTAM A0471/26. Chinese state broadcaster CCTV, citing Iraqi civil aviation sources, also reported the notice.

The NOTAM does not say what military activity is planned or by whom. It comes hours after President Trump said a decision is coming on whether the U.S. will go further in Iran.
