Letitia James, fresh off re-election, vows to keep going after Trump: "sue, baby, sue"

FACTS

New York Attorney General Letitia James aimed a fresh threat at President Trump this week — bragging that she will continue to "sue, baby, sue" while claiming she is targeting "oligarchs."

The far-left prosecutor, re-elected Tuesday to another four years, did not name Trump at Friday's SOMOS political conference in Puerto Rico, but framed her next term around lawsuits against the people she says are driving high costs.

"Mortgages are too high, interest rates are too high, car insurance is too high," James said. "We've got to make sure all of the oligarchs that are at the top are imposing all of these high costs on New Yorkers and Americans." She closed: "I'm excited to get back to work and to use the law — both as a sword and as a shield — and sue baby sue with all of you!"
