Republican Sen. Susan Collins leads Democrat Troy Jackson by 1,786 votes in Maine's Senate race, 163,822 to 162,036, with about 41% of the expected vote counted (AP via NYT, 11:20 PM ET). Jackson had led earlier in the count. The race has not been called; most of the vote is still out.
