FACTS

Arizona voters still holding an early ballot have to get it to an official drop box or vote center by 7 p.m. local time Tuesday, Maricopa County and the Arizona attorney general's office say. A ballot mailed today will arrive too late.

Maricopa says voters who bring the ballot inside a vote center with ID can have it tabulated on site. The county posts live wait times at locations.maricopa.vote, updated about every 15 minutes, and KTAR reported high volume at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in the East Valley.

Arizona's polls close at 9 p.m. Eastern. The late drop-offs are a big reason Arizona counts for days.
