NBC exit poll: Election Day voters R+12, early and mail voters D+24

ATTRIBUTED CLAIMS

The NBC News exit poll splits sharply by how people voted: Election Day voters favor Republicans by 12 points, while mail and early voters favor Democrats by 24, according to numbers posted by @OpenSourceZone.

In many states early ballots are counted first, so early leads can shrink as Election Day votes come in.
