25 arrested outside UK Supreme Court as Palestine Action appeals its terrorism ban

FACTS

The UK Supreme Court began hearing Palestine Action co-founder Huda Ammori's appeal against the government's ban on the group on Wednesday. The Metropolitan Police confirmed 25 people were arrested outside the court.

The Home Office is opposing the appeal. In written submissions for the Community Security Trust and the Jewish Leadership Council, Adam Wagner KC said lifting the ban would "re-arm and revitalise a sinister and dangerous movement."

The hearing is set to last two days, with a decision expected at a later date.
