The New York Post editorial board says a planned Nov. 8 bike-by protest against Jewish-owned restaurants in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square proves the supposed line between antizionism and antisemitism is a lie.
Organizers with On Your Left are backing a Boycott CookNSolo drive targeting six restaurants — demanding 'Zionist establishments' leave the city and saying those eateries must 'die' along with 'the political ideology of Zionism.' Of four owners named, the Post notes, one is Israeli-American and the other three are American Jews.
The paper stresses the protest sits on the eve of Kristallnacht's 88th anniversary — when Nazi mobs burned synagogues and wrecked Jewish businesses — and that organizers knew the calendar while calling critics 'cynical' for linking antizionism to Jew-hatred. 'They're barely even pretending not to be Nazis anymore,' the editorial concludes.
