Rockland yeshiva leaders back Lawler, Rand and Wieder in Tuesday's election

A large group of Rockland County yeshiva and Mosdos HaTorah administrators has signed a joint letter endorsing Rep. Mike Lawler for Congress, Joe Rand for state Senate and Assemblyman Aron Wieder for re-election, Monsey Scoop reports. The schools serve about 35,000 children in the county.

The letter urges parents to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and says the candidates have a long record of supporting the community's schools and families. The signers say they are endorsing as individuals, not on behalf of their institutions.

Polls in New York are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
