Commentator Tucker Carlson wrote on X late Sunday that "under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran." He said the target would be Pickaxe Mountain, a fortified site in central Iran, and quoted an unnamed "informed observer" as saying, "Bibi calls Trump about it every day." He said Trump is likely to decide by Nov. 7 and is "hesitating."

Carlson named Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper as pushing to restart major combat. He said Vice President JD Vance and envoy Steve Witkoff are arguing for a deal. His post had passed 19 million views by early Monday.

Carlson cited no documents. The White House, the Pentagon and Israel have not confirmed any of it. Axios has reported, citing U.S. and Israeli sources, that Trump wants to let the Doha negotiations play out for now.
